Host:Ingrid Schlueter
Guest:Pat Ennis
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

Today a woman's worth is based upon her appearance and her ability to attract men, but this is not what the Bible teaches. An excellent resource that presents the biblical side of womanhood is, Precious in His Sight: The Fine Art of Becoming a Godly Woman, by Pat Ennis.

Dr. Ennis is professor and establishing chairperson of the Department of Home Economics at The Master's College in Santa Clarita, California, where she has served since 1987.

This book, written for women in all seasons of life, is broken down into three sections: The woman's spiritual life, her relationships and her emotions.

The program discusses the importance of mentoring young women, examples of great women in the Bible, the feminist movement and Christianity, the clothing issue, hospitality, and other topics related to being a godly woman.
