Best of Crosstalk: (First Aired February 16, 2007)

Pastor Jeff Noblit is with Anchored in Truth Ministries and is also the pastor of First Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Pastor Noblit is hosting The True Church Conference May 3rd through the 6th of this year. The motto is, "Striving not to build great churches, but true churches."

He came up with the conference idea out of respect for the glory of God because that is the end of all things. He realized that the church can't do this unless it's purposes and practices are godly. In other words, we don't have to dress God up in cultural garb to make him attractive. He is attractive and beautiful, so all we need to do is to preach about him as he's revealed in Scripture.

This conference, available for church leaders or any committed Christians, will deal with the doctrine of conversion, evangelism and missions, modeling and mentoring, as well as being application intensive with a question and answer session.
