North American Globalism/Fairness Doctrine/Lobbying Reform

Vic opened up this edition of Crosstalk looking for input on some issues concerning national sovereignty.
For example, as we see the apparent effort to convert the U.S. to the North American Union, is the desire of our president truly to protect our southern border or are there, as has been alleged, talks by Mexico, the U.S. and Canada to take us into a one currency system based on the Amero?
Also discussed were two concerns now that the Democrats have control of congress.
The first involves the possible passing of a "fairness doctrine." This means that if you are part of the broadcast industry and you talk about an issue of major importance, you would be required to bring in someone with an opposing viewpoint to discuss both sides of the issue.
The second involves House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's desire to change the legal definition of grassroots lobbying. This would mean that any organization that encourages 500 or more members of the general public to contact their elected representatives, would be required to file a report to the government on a quarterly basis. The new legislation would contain a loophole for large corporations and labor unions.
