Aiden Wilson Tozer was a longtime pastor in the Christian and Missionary Alliance, acknowledged in his lifetime as a gifted writer and a simple but forceful preacher. He was even called a "20th-century prophet", as he called Christians and the Church to repentance and holiness. He lived from 1897 to 1963.
This Crosstalk program featured the voice of A.W. Tozer as he preached a sermon to a Christian and Missionary Alliance gathering. In it he enjoins his listeners to experience the awe of a God who is "high and lifted up". He also called on the church to repent of selfish and worldly goals and practices, saying that God will use others if we are not faithful to His Word.
