Operation Rescue in Kansas

Host:Jim Schneider
Guest:Cheryl Sullenger
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

Cheryl Sullenger represents Operation Rescue of Witchita, Kansas.

The program began with discussion of the recent Kansas Attorney General race where pro-life incumbent Phil Kline was defeated by Paul Morrison.

Kline is investigating two abortion clinics, a Planned Parenthood clinic in the Kansas City area and George Tiller's clinic in Witchita. Tiller's clinic is the largest, free-standing late term abortion clinic in the Western Hemisphere. Kline is looking for what he believes have been violations of Kansas law that include the concealment of child rape, along with illegal, late term abortions.

Cheryl also discussed the following:

-The renovation of a former abortion clinic that Operation Rescue purchased and will be used as a memorial for the pre-born and as Operation Rescue's national offices.

-The case of the baby girl born alive at a Florida abortion clinic that was reported on the 12/5 edition of Crosstalk.

-The four day, pro-life, Cry for Justice Rally to be held January 19-22 in Witchita, Kansas.

-Rick Warren giving pro-abortion Senator Barack Obama a platform at Warren's recent AIDS summit.

-The dangers of RU-486.

Jim wrapped up the program by mentioning the removal of the cross at Wren Chapel which is located at William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia. The cross was removed from the altar area to prevent offending those who are non-Christians.
