| Host: | Vic Eliason |
| Guest: | Mat Staver |
| Listen: | RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD |
Vic began the program discussing an an MP3 audio Bible (King James Version) that can be researched on http://www.gobible.com.
Mat Staver is the founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel.
Mat appeared on Crosstalk to discuss Liberty Counsel's "Naughty and Nice" list that is part of their "Friend or Foe" campaign. The "naughty" retailers are those who refuse to use the word, "Christmas" in their advertising and marketing. Consequently, those who do use "Christmas" are on the "nice" list.
Liberty Counsel's "Naughty" list includes stores such as: Best Buy, Lowe's, Banana Republic, Dollar Tree, Eddie Bauer, GAP, Rite Aid and Staples.
The "Nice" list includes: Toys R Us, Ace Hardware, J.C. Penny, Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Lands End.
Elsewhere on the Friend or Foe Campaign front, Mat and Vic discussed a number of cases including:
An Arkansas middle school removed a teacher's nativity scene and the star of David from a larger display that also included secular holiday decorations.
The Orlando Cloisters retirement home where management had an employee clip the wings off the angel of the Christmas tree.
A Florida school not allowing a play to take place because a parent complained last year saying that Santa Claus is a religious figure.
