Mike Mears, Director of State Legislative Relations with Concerned Women for America appeared within the first quarter hour of Crosstalk. Mike commented on the issues that Concerned Women for America are watching on the eve of the mid-term elections.
Vic Eliason then moved on to other election related stories and asked for listener comment. The stories included:
Senior terrorist leaders are hoping that American voters will sweep Democrats into power, feeling that this will cause America to pull out of Iraq. They feel this will insure victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.
11 states have measures to restrict the use of eminent domain.
8 states will be voting on marriage legislation tomorrow.
Tobacco taxes, marijuana possession and limits on smoking in public will be on the ballot in 7 states.
Some states will be voting on whether or not to raise the minimum wage.
Arizona has several measures dealing with immigration.
Michigan has a measure dealing with affirmative action.
South Dakota will find out the fate of legislation to ban abortion.
The home of the chairperson of the pro-life organization, Kansans for Truth in Politics, had her home attacked by egg throwing opposition.
A Christian obstetrician is speaking out against Amendment 2 in Missouri because of what he believes is it's deceptive wording on the ballot.
Referendum over the public display of the Ten Commandments in Idaho.
