After reading the following news headlines, Vic Eliason opened the phone lines to let listeners share their comments regarding the results of the election.
-Pro-Life Wisconsin notes that voters gave the nod to pro-life supporter J.B. Van Hollen as Wisconsin's Attorney General.
-On the other hand, Wisconsin voters did not vote for pro-life congressman Mark Green to supplant governor Jim Doyle.
-Nancy Pelosi, who in the past has voted to uphold partial birth abortion, who has voted against parental notification, has opposed the death penalty, school prayer and the posting of the Ten Commandments on public property, may become the new Speaker of the House.
-The South Dakota abortion ban is believed to have failed because it had no provision for rape and incest.
-California voters defeated Proposition 85, a measure that would have required parental notification for minors to receive an abortion.
-Kansas Attorney General Phil Kline lost to pro-abort Paul Morrison. Morrison has promised he will now drop all investigations into abortion clinic crimes, including illegal late term abortions along with the concealment of child rape.
-7 out of 8 states voted against homosexual marriage. Arizona was the only exception.
