Rick Warren-Barack Obama Connection

This Crosstalk began with an announcement that the American Family Association has called for a boycott of both Wal-Mart and its associated Sam's Club outlets. This is due to Wal-Mart's continuing efforts to support the homosexual agenda.
Ingrid informed listeners that Senator Barack Obama has been invited to speak at Rick Warren's Saddleback Church on December 1st. This is a surprising invitation because Senator Obama is a supporter of partial birth abortion.
Along with this is the fact that back on July 14, 2006, Senator Obama, on National Public Radio, said that his goal is to win evangelicals back to the Democratic party.
These facts raise two important questions: What purpose is driving Rick Warren, both in regard to his recent peace junket to Syria, and now his speaking invitation to Senator Obama? Secondly, what is the definition of an evangelical?
