Vic opened this edition of Crosstalk with news that the mayor of Chicago has outlawed the promotion of a Christmas film at a Christmas festival because he was worried that someone might be offended.
Mark Crutcher is the founder and president of Life Dynamics, Inc., an organization that has done ground-breaking research on the abortion industry.
Some years ago, Life Dynamics set up an undercover operation involving a young woman portraying a pregnant, underage teen. In 91% of completed legal phone calls to Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Federation clinics, the clinics agreed to conceal the information. According to Mark, this indicates that Planned Parenthood is involved in the promotion of pedophilia and statutory rape in violation of state and federal laws.
This led to the discussion of Rick Warren's invitation to have pro-homosexual, pro-abortion Senator Barack Obama speak from the pulpit of Warren's Saddleback Church. Mark notes that Warren's invitation is giving Obama credibility which is unusual because Obama stands for issues that Warren has traditionally stood against.
Callers gave views expressing past chapters of passivity in their lives over abortion, the importance of educating people about the horrors of abortion, how we need to view the so-called "life of the mother" exception, and other related matters.
