Chaplains Free to Pray Victory

Host:Vic Eliason
Guest:Gordon Klingenschmitt and Janet Folger
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

On Friday, September 29th, the U.S. Congress reprimanded the Secretary of the Navy, ordering him to rescind the illegal policies that censored prayers. The Secretary of the Air Force was also ordered to rescind guidelines that required non-denominational prayers. This means all Navy and Air Force chaplains are free to pray in Jesus' name. This reverses the illegal policy in effect for the past 8 months.

Now Chaplain Klingenschmitt has grounds to appeal his Court Martial.

Janet Folger also discussed the issue of life from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the area where she feels the wedge will be put in the wall of Roe v.Wade to bring that wall down.

The reason for her work there is because of a ballot initative that will be voted on by South Dakota residents on the 7th of November. If passed, the initiative will outlaw abortion in that state.
