Atomic Iran and North Korea Showdown

Host:Vic Eliason
Guest:Jerome Corsi
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

Jerome Corsi is the author of numerous books. His latest two are: Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb & American Politicians and his latest is entitled, Showdown With Nuclear Iran.

On this edition of Crosstalk, Corsi describes how there are problems with Iran and South Korea, both separately and together.

For example, Ahmadinejad, who is the president of Iran, has a messianic outlook for his nation and the world. He believes that a holy figure, who is the 12th grandson of the prophet Mohammed, went down a well in 941 A.D. and disappeared. Eventually, when an apocalypse takes place, this prophet will come back from the well and this will be the signal for the triumph of Shiite Islam. Ahmadinejad believes it is his mission to create the apocalypse that will bring this prophet back.

This ties in with the nuclear technology exchange-partnership between Iran and North Korea. Corsi notes that during the last tests in July and August, when North Korea was test firing missiles, as well as during the recent alleged North Korea nuclear detonation, there were Iranian observers watching the tests.

Vic and Jerome also look at the China connection, Israel's sovereignty and security as well as America's reaction to this growing threat.
