Mike Gendron is with Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries
Mike believes there are three main groups of pastors today. The first group holds fast to the truth and preaches the inerrant, authoritative Word of God. The second group is led by approval seeking, man pleasing pastors interested in seeker sensitive messages, success and popularity, while the third group is actively seducing the church by preaching false doctrine.
More specifically, Ingrid and Mike discussed the emergent church. movement. They have leaders like Brian McClaren who teach that we cannot trust the absolute authority of God's word; that we have to be more tolerant, come together in unity, and that it doesn't matter what doctrinal position you take on the Jesus that you love.
Also discussed was the history of this movement, the 7 areas of Scripture Satan attacks in order to deceive people, and how some people are being attracted back to Rome.
