Lisa Jefferson is the co-author of the book entitled, Called, which describes her key role in the 9-11 drama.
As a Verizon air-phone supervisor, Lisa was brought in to take over a phone call situation on 9-11. That call involved communication with Todd Beamer, a passenger on United Airlines flight 93, the 9-11 flight that crashed before terrorists could get it to their planned destination.
Lisa details the last moments of this infamous flight, how this incident affected her personally, how it affected her family, the relationship she established with Todd Beamer's wife (also named Lisa), and God's impact in her life through this tragedy.
