Phyllis Schlafly is founder and president of Eagle Forum.

The push toward foreign ownership of U.S. ports continues. Phyllis reported that there's a move afoot to make Kansas City, Missouri a "port" in order to bring in Chinese made goods.

The plan is to bring goods across the Pacific ocean from China, land them at a Mexican port, then put them on railroad cars and ship them to Kansas City. From there the goods would be loaded onto trucks that would travel to various points in the U.S. and Canada via a 1,200 foot wide, NAFTA superhighway. Phyllis reported that the portion of Kansas City where the "port" activity would take place would be considered the sovereign property of Mexico.

This began with a meeting in Waco, Texas in 2005 between George Bush, Vincente Fox, and Prime Minister Paul Martin of Canada. At that meeting they agreed to form a partnership called the Security and Prosperity Partnership. (SPP) This is alleged to be the first step toward creating a North American Union.
