In 1995 Linda Harvey founded Mission America, a non-profit organization with an objective to equip Christians with current, accurate information about cultural issues such as feminism, homosexuality, education and New Age influences.
More than 3,000 homosexual clubs have formed in public schools in the last 15 years. Most are in high schools, some are in middle schools, and Linda reports that at least 1 elementary school club is in existence in California. These clubs are often listed under the heading of GSA or Gay, Straight Alliance.
Part of the success for this movement has resulted from the homosexual community combining forces with those who practice bisexual and transgender behavior. The result is the GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) movement.
The result of accepting this type of activity came to light recently as California governor Arnold Schwarznegger signed a bill that requires entities that take any kind of tax money, even for school lunch programs, to accept homosexuality.
