Host:Ingrid Schlueter
Guest:Jerry Newcombe
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

The program opened with another update from Navy Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt, who again encouraged listeners to continue calling senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, John Warner of Virginia and Carl Levin of Michigan to show support for HR 5122. This legislation will allow military chaplains to pray in the name of Jesus.

Jerry Newcombe is the senior TV producer for Coral Ridge Ministries. He has produced Dr. D. James Kennedy's latest video project entitled, "Darwin's Deadly Legacy" which airs nationwide this weekend.

At the time Darwin's writings were released, most people believed that man was created in the image of God, just a little lower than the angels. Darwin made man to appear as though he is just a little higher than the apes.

The result? In succeeding years, the acceptance of Darwinian evolution spawned ideas such as the eugenics movement of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger. It later helped add legitimacy to the concept of racism and the horrors of the Nazi's, while today, Darwinism is a contributing factor in school shootings.
"Darwin's Deadly Legacy" will air in TV markets nationwide. This program will feature commentary by notables such as Ken Ham, Ian Taylor, Ann Coulter, Jonathan Wells and Lee Strobel.
