Israel in the News

Morton Kline is the president of the Zionist Organization of America.

Kline noted that a million Israeli's, about 20% of the population, are in bomb shelters. Others are heading south to get away from Hezbollah missiles. He believes this shows how Israel cannot appease the Arabs by unilaterally giving them land without anything else being done. This merely tells the Arabs that Israel and the West are weak, are willing to make concessions, are in retreat, and that terrorism pays.

European leaders are asking for restraint but Kline feels that this is almost an anti-semitic statement considering the fact that Israel's enemies want to destroy her.

Steve Herzig is the director of North American ministries for Friends of Israel. Steve described the ministry's purpose as they stand behind Israel while the nation defends its liberty, discussed an upcoming prophecy conference, discussed how current events fall in the timeline of prophetic events, and he gave listeners an overview of their magazine, Israel My Glory.
