International Leadership Conference
| Host: | Ingrid Schlueter |
| Listen: | RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD |
Ingrid presented listeners with two main news stories, then opened the phone lines for listeners to comment.
Ford, the nation's number two automaker and lately a supporter of homosexual causes, announced it has posted a second quarter net loss of 123 million dollars.
Bono, singer for the rock group U-2, is set to appear in the videocast of a Willow Creek Church "International Leadership Conference" on August 10th.
It's this latter story that set the tone for the rest of the program. Ingrid noted how today's church leadership conferences often feature top business leaders. They're intended to improve leadership and business practices at churches, unfortunately this merely shows how the church is looking to the world for direction instead of the pages of God's Word.
