The Bush Administration and the Iraq War

Host:Vic Eliason
Guest:John LeBoutillier
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

John LeBoutillier is a former U.S. Congressman from New York and a nationally recognized political commentator.

Many conservatives, including conservative Christians, are unhappy with the current administration. John believes this is due to a number of factors: Iraq never seems to get any better, the Harriet Miers controversy, Dubois Ports, amnesty for illegal aliens, along with the federal spending and huge deficits of this Republican congress that mimics past Democrats.

John feels that the Bush administration, like most second term administrations, is quite arrogant. While applauding Bush's claimed, born-again status, he points out that this factor alone doesn't mean an individual is qualified to lead a nation.

Other points discussed include the need for an independent third candidate, the prescription drug program and where the Iraq war is going.
