Robert Knight is the director of the Culture and Family Institute at Concerned Women for America.
19 states have passed marriage amendments. 7 more are set to vote on their amendments this year. On the federal level, the Marriage Protection Amendment is going to be introduced in the Senate next week and may come up for vote on the 6th or the 7th.
Robert believes that the MPA, as it's currently written, needs some revision. He cites a loophole in the second sentence that invites states to create civil unions or domestic partnerships for same sex couples which, of course, would undermine traditional marriage.
Ingrid and Robert also discussed homosexuality and its effects on other aspects of the family and education along with government's role in promulgating this lifestyle.
