Lowell Ponte has worked for 15 years as a roving editor for Readers Digest. He's also written for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times and other publications. He's also the author of the climate change book entitled, The Cooling.
Ponte comments on the 2005 Security and Prosperity Partnership meeting that took place between Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. This is basically a common market agreement that, at least from a business and trade standpoint, does away with national borders.
Other issues also discussed include the upcoming Mexican presidential election and how this may affect immigration, why English is not considered our official language, and the deceptive elements of Al Gore's climate philosophy.
