Mat Staver is the general counsel and founder of Liberty Counsel.
Mat presented news concerning numerous civil liberty cases. One dealt with a Kentucky high school senior class that disobeyed a court order not to pray at their high school graduation.
Another case dealt with a 9th circuit court decision allowing public school teachers to put children through Muslim role-playing exercises, including the reciting of prayers to Allah.
At Liberty Elementary School in Texas, the student yearbook cover pictured a coin that left off the phrase, In God We Trust. Students who wanted the phrase were offered a sticker with the words on it.
