U.N Taxation of Americans

Host:Vic Eliason
Guest:Cliff Kincaid
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

Cliff Kincaid is with Accuracy in Media.

Cliff explains how the U.N. feels America is selfish and therefore not spending enough on the rest of the world. In order to meet America's foreign aid spending objectives set by the U.N., they assume America must be taxed because they don't feel we will meet our objectives volutarily. One of the methods of obtaining our foreign aid portion is a proposed U.N. gasoline tax of 35 cents per gallon. This gas tax alone would bring in an estimated 750 billion dollars per year of additional revenue to the U.N.

Cliff and Vic encouraged listeners to call the Captiol Switchboard to alert their congressmen and senators to get behind the Inhofe Bill (Prevent United Nations Taxation Act). This bill would prevent taxation of Americans by the United Nations.
