Dressing improperly sends a message. Weak homes with weak fathers are part of the problem, but rules alone won't work. They must be applied firmly but with love, as children see that the father is in agreement with a godly, loving mother.
On the advice front, today it's very unusual to find a book in mainline Christian bookstores dealing with this issue, however, one Christian author is bucking the trend. The Fall and Rise of Christian Standards, written by Pastor David Kidd, calls Christians to a higher standard. Ingrid read a few excerpts from the book and took calls from listeners who gave their views on this issue.
