About a year ago, a film was released called, "The Wedding Crashers". This film featured a cameo appearance by Republican Senator John McCain. This appearance was unusual considering McCain's past opposition to Hollywood's creation of R-rated movies. On the other hand, past comments by Sen. McCain have shown him to be a mixed bag of political views, as he has also come out in favor of embryonic stem cell research.
Now Sen. McCain, who is a possible 2008 presidential candidate, is set to appear as a commencement speaker at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University.
