Day of Silence

Host:Jim Schneider
Guest:Peter LaBarbera
Listen:RealAudio | Windows Media | MP3 | Order Tape or CD

Peter LaBarbera is Director of the Illinois Family Institute and the founder of Americans for Truth.

The Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN) is the force behind the national Day of Silence (April 26th) at over 1,000 schools all over the U.S. Homosexual students come to school with a piece of paper letting everyone know that they will be silent to show solidarity to the homosexual cause. Peter LaBarbera believes this day is merely being used to promote homosexuality in the name of allegedly making school more inclusive and "safer" for homosexual students.

Peter and Jim discuss alternatives to this day of silence and what Illinois voters can do to protect marriage in their state this November.
